An intense book with a long slow build that leaves you exhausted, but in a good way.

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing:
"Definitely a little strange, but Konmari-ing my clothes made such an incredible difference to both my wardrobe and my mood, I can't deny there is something here. To appreciate this book, you sort of have to consciously choose to give over to illogical emotions and maybe even to magical thinking, but doing so helps you release all the subconscious illogical emotions and magical thinking that had been secretly stressing you out. So talk to your socks a little and do what's best for the things you don't use: thank them for finding you, then let them go. Seek pleasure in your things and appreciate it when you find it. It's a strange, but hopeful and really rather touching worldview. Plus, you will get rid of tons of things that were weighing you down. "
